What is the minimum rider age?

 Sand & Surf Rides - 3 years old & up

Cruise Rides - 10 years old & up

Do we tip the guides?

Yes! Tips are extremely appreciated by our team. And genereally 20% - 25% for each guide present. 

How long are the rides?

Our rides last for 1 hour and 15 minutes approximately. 

What should I wear?

You can wear your swimsuit, shorts, activewear or whatever you feel the most comfortable in. Just keep in mind you will be getting wet.

Will you help me take pictures?

Yes we will! Our guides will help you capture the most amazing shots on your phones during your experience. We also work with a local professional photography company that we can put you in contact with.  They can meet you at your booked ride to capture your memories. 📷

Can my kids ride with me?

You would not be able to ride the same horse as your kids, but we do offer a one on one guide that will be with each rider each step of the way. Including if they need extra help and someone riding with them. 

I don't have any riding experience is that ok?

Yes it is! Only about half of our riders have riding experience, so if you've never rode a horse before you have nothing to worry about. We will offer you a one on one guide that will be there to help you with anything you need as well as answer any questions you might have. 

Are there a weight restrictions?

Our weight limit for rides is 260 pounds.

What are your hours?

Our schedule is based on low tides which means the ride could be at a different time depending on the day. We do rides every day but Tuesday's. 

What happens if it rains?

If weather is not permitting we will reschedule for another time and day or offer a rain check. The weather can be unpredictable but we normally wait at least 45 minutes to see it the weather will clear up. 

Do I have to do all of the activities?

Of course not! During your ride your guide will go over all of the activities we offer and you just let us know which ones you would like to try.

Can we bring treats?

Yes! You are more than welcome to bring carrots and apples! At the end of your ride, your guide will cut up the treats to put into a bowl and allow you to spoil your horse! 

Do we ride in saddles or bareback?

Our Sand & Surf ride starts out in the saddle and before we enter the water we go bareback and put a bareback pad on unless you needed to keep your saddle on.
For our Cruise ride you are in saddles throughout the ride.

Do I have to wear a helmet or lifejacket?

Any one that is 16 years and under is required to wear a helmet. Anyone that is an expert rider and trotting/cantering a horse is required to wear a helmet.
Anyone that is 6 yrs old and under OR cannot swim is required to wear a lifejacket.

Do you offer any type of discount?

We offer first responder, military and large parties discounts.
